This is a kind reminder of the upcoming online lecture by Prof. Markus Dressler and Dr Janina Karolewski (University of Leipzig), hosted by the Institute for Alevi Theology as part of the lecture series Knowledge in Transition – Knowledge Production and Circulation of Alevi Traditions in Past and Present.
The lecture, titled “The Alevi Archive: Ethnohistory of Alevi Communities in Anatolia, 16th to 20th Centuries”, will discuss the historical formation, transmission, and archival dimensions of knowledge on Alevi communities in Anatolia from the sixteenth to the twentieth centuries.
