The final session of the lecture series Knowledge in Transition – Knowledge Production and Circulation of Alevi Traditions in Past and Present will take place on 7 July 2026.
In this session, Dr Hayal Hanoğlu and Dr Ahmet Kerim Gültekin will present the ongoing Alevi Encyclopedia project as a collaborative digital platform dedicated to collecting, developing and disseminating scholarly knowledge on Alevism. The lecture will focus on cultural heritage, knowledge production and the role of the Alevi Encyclopedia as a digital archive.
The lecture series is organised by the Institute for Alevi Theology at the University of Hamburg.
