In the winter semester of 2025/26, the University of Vienna will host an online lecture series on “Alevi History” as part of the individual bachelor’s program Alevi Theological Studies.
Scholars from Austria and abroad will present their research in weekly sessions and invite participants to join an open discussion. The series aims to deepen the understanding of the historical context of the Alevi faith, which provides an important foundation for contemporary perspectives and assessments.
